This was an interesting area. One so close by that Dart found always caught her attention. The guild hall could be found in this area too, which made it somewhere she was often. But, the majority of the time she could be found out looking around instead of at the guild. It wasn't as if she ever really found anything. Anything of value left of the temple was most likely long gone by now, except some walls. It didn't matter to her. Dart neither looked for anything, or cared to find anything like that, it was just interesting to see the ruined building.
Her feet carried her up a set of stone steps, parts of each step were either broken, cracked or in the case of one, almost completely missing. The sound of her footsteps echoed off what was left of the building as she walked past what used to be the entrance. In some ways the sight of this ruined temple was sad, people who saw it only being able to wonder what it had been like before it had reached this state.
Even in a place where it seemed unlikely to see anyone, Dart was still watching her back, occasionally glancing over her shoulder to make sure that there wasn't anyone following her or hiding. No, she wasn't paranoid but no one could be too careful, you could never know when something would jump out at you.
The sound of some rocks falling caused her to spin around, her dagger in her hand as her eyes scanned the room she was in. There was nothing moving now. Caustiously she took a few steps forward, another sound drawing her eyes upward to part of hte broken wall, where a bird had just perched. Even Dart could laugh at herself, and she did as she put away her dagger. "You shouldn't scare people like that, little bird." She said as she looked at the creature. No, she didn't think they bird could talk to her, but it was part of her sense of humor, and the bird flew away shortly after. "Good bye little bird." Her voice was quiet as she turned to explore the ruins more.

"Enjoying yourself?" Altaiir asked from behind a pillar. His back was to her and from her vantage point she was unable to see him. He turned a throwing knife over in his hand, regarding the markings on the blade.
"What brings you to the Sanctuary?"

Dart turned her head towards the voice. She couldn't see who it was from where she was, so she didn't answer right away, instead continued walking, examining the old walls until she got to a spot where she could see who was next to the pillar.
"Yes, I'm enjoying myself just fine." She said, watching him tossing the knife in his hand.
"I like to explore the ruins of this place, no other reason than curiosity brings me here." She said simply, continuing to walk along the wall, her hand running along the stone. "To imagine what this place once was is something I do often." The statement was spoken quietly, more to herself than to him.
Stopping, she turned her head to look at him once more. "Is that a good enough reason to be here?"

"I've never seen you here before. Nor have any of my scouts. But today one of them found you here walking amongst the ruins of our home. I trust you are experienced enough to defend yourself against the dangers that plague this land. This is not a safe place."
He glanced over at her, the cowl of his hood shadowing his eyes as it often did. His stark white robes played into the snowy ground. The red sash about his waist was purely visible. He was the leader of the Assassin's Guild.

"I didn't think this would be safe. But sometimes my curiosity is better than my common sense, I guess." She definately didn't look afraid of him, nor did she act as though she was even on edge. In fact, she looked quite comfortable as she started walking again, finding a spot where hte broken wall almost seemed to act as steps up to another level. Her blood red cloak mostly hid the dark clothes she wore, and other than her hands her head was the only skin visible. Even her neck was covered, and the firey hair that almost matched the cloak hid a lot of her face anyways.
"If I wasn't experienced enough to defend myself, do you think I would've come?" She said this as she swiftly moved up the 'steps' the wall created, sitting at the top of them. "But, tell me, how is this place not safe? At least why is it so unsafe that you act like I should be afraid to show up here?"

"The darkness killed all who lived here. In an instant. That is one danger most have feared here. No one knows when the darkness will claim the region again." She had nothing to fear of him. Anyone who knew anything about the Hashashins knew they would not kill without provocation.
She looked fit. Her movement showed promise. He admired her courage and flawless attitude. "Have you ever experienced suffering, my young friend?"

"No one knows when it will claim the region again, and yet, you're here." She said simply, resting her elbows on her knees as she looked down at him from the now higher point.
"Suffering? I think that depends on what you consider suffering. Have I even been tortured or something like that, no. But most everyone experiences suffering at one time or another, mental, physical, any way." Sometimes what Dart said could be confusing but she had her own philosphy so it didn't matter if someone questioned it. "So, I guess my answer would be yes."

"A harbinger of death can not have fear." He replied.

He hoped for a simple yes or no. Perhaps she was not a good candidate. "I could care less what everyone else experiences. The question was for you."
"Have you ever killed someone?"

Dart moved to sit up straight, her hands gripping the wall on either side of her as she looked down at him, as though considering her answer. She didn't give her own strange philosophy this time, her answer was simple. "Yes."

He didn't think she could give another long lingering explanation for that one. "What do you know about the Hashashins? Are you familiar with the term?" He saw a flash on the hills behind her. Probably the gleam off of one of his scouts blades. He would have to talk to them about it. Carelessness was dangerous.

"I can't say I know much about the Hashashins, but I can say I've heard the term." She pushed herself off the edge of hte wall with that, landing gracefully on the ground below. Dart didn't like to stay still for long, she liked to be moving most of the time, even in her sleep she woke up often just to move. "Why do you ask?"

"You have the look of a killer about you. Who was your father?" He asked, seeing something in her face.

When she heard the question she stopped walking, completely silent for a few moments after she heard it. Eventually she looked at him, hesitant to answer. "His name was Austhain, that's all you need to know."

He nodded inwardly. An assassin. Murderer more like. "But I know more." He looked up the cliffs to the hidden passage into the Hashshashin's Hall. He looked back at her, sheathing the blade.

She gave him a strange look. "You know more?"
