There is a new stat for you character being released and tested. Battle Experience!
HP is a scale of health. MP is a scale of physical strength and will-power. But Battle Experience (BXP, or just XP) is the amount of time your character has spent in battle against an enemy that's trying to kill them. When fighting for your life you learn much more than you can in any guild.
This is how it works:
When your character goes into battle, they gain prowess with their weapon, as well as learn new masteries in tactics, strategy, and maneuverability. When you post, each post in the engagement is worth 1/2 a point. Even your opponents posts count as half a point towards you. Once you total the posts in the battle up, and post the number in the BATTLE EXPERIENCE thread, an admin will give you your number of XP points.
Each 1/2 points symbolizes a moment of fear and adrenaline. But a moment isn't qualified as experience. The length of the battle as a whole determines your amount of added skill.
ie. Total the 1/2 points. 22(1/2) = 11 total points (Uneven amounts are always rounded up like 6 1/2 is changed to 7)
<10 points = +1 BXP
>10 points = +3 BXP
This BXP can be added to your attacks or defensive moves during the next battle. It is added to every single offensive and defensive phase you make.
ie. 6 atk + 3 Weapon + 10 MP + 2 BXP + [dice]
You can only gain Battle XP in a PvP battle (Against another player, on a quest, ect)
You can not gain Battle XP from fighting an NPC you created.
Still trying to make it look like we're working hard,
