James Zynthos, a once skilled and swift assassin, has been reborn into the body of a necromancer, due a curse casted of his predecessor. The original host, Tah' Rai, wanted to insure that his powers and his body would stay intact, so at the cost of his own life, he replaced it with another.
James now searches for a cure to his "undeath" and has come to the entrance of the Priest guildhouse. He only hopes that the high priests inside would not consider him a threat.
"Who goes there?" called out the guard.
"I am ...Z. I am looking for the high priest Oswen.". The blessed crosses and holy ground almost stung to be around. James realizes that he would have to be careful, as his body's instincts have taken control before.
"You reak of death. There is a shadow stalking you. I will not allow the soldier's of death into this place. Turn back, or feel the presence of God."
"I would really rather not cause bloodshed near the house of God. Please summon Oswen, or I may have to find him myself."
At this note, the paladin raised his sword.

The Paladin drew his sword and held it at the Sorcerer. However, before anything else could happen, a small window in the gate behind them opened, and the joavial face of Brother Porter came into view. [limegreen]"What's going on out there?"[/limegreen] the gatekeeper asked. [maroon]"A Sorcerer. I'm sending him away."[/maroon] [limegreen]"But wait! A Sorcerer you say? And what does the likes of them wish with us?"[/limegreen]

James was in a hurry, and pushed the guard away. "I must see the high priest Oswen. I swear upon my(pause)...life that I don't wish any priest of god any harm. Do understand that Must see him. Bring him to me or I shall come to him."
The paladin pushed him back. "You have no right to talk to a bishop in your state." The paladin tried to intimidate James by glaring at him. James ignored the guard and waited for the reply from the gatekeeper. "Give me an answer, or I'm coming in."

Brother Porter looked perplexed, looking out at the Sorcerer. "Give me an answer, or I'm coming in." [limegreen]"Well, you shall certainly not come in, but I shall fetch the Archbishop."[/limegreen] With that, the gatekeeper closed the window and scurried off, leaving Z with the paladin.
The paladin remained silent, keeping Z a sword's length away from him and the door.
Brother Porter hurried into the cathedral, but instead of going for Oswin, he went to find Rabbi Jesoshi. Sorcerers were too dangerous and untrustworthy to call the Archbishop. And besides, Jesoshi had experience in these matters.
[limegreen]"Rabbi Jesoshi,"[/limegreen] he said, knocking on the library door. Jesoshi looked up from the desk he was writing at in annoyance. [beige]"Yes Brother Porter?"[/beige] [limegreen]"There's a Sorcerer at the gate, Rabbi, and he wants to see Oswin. He swears on his life that he means no harm."[/limegreen]
Jesoshi rose quickly from his desk, eyes widening. [beige]"Tell me you have not already sent for the Archbishop?"[/beige] [limegreen]"No, Rabbi, I thought it best to get you, first."[/limegreen] [beige]"You did well,"[/beige] he said, grabbing his outter robe and his staff. [beige]"I will come and speak with him."[/beige] [limegreen]"Yes Rabbi Jesoshi,"[/limegreen] Brother Porter said, turning to return to the gate.
Together, Brother Porter and Rabbi Jesoshi walked down the halls of the cathedral, heading from the library to the gate.
[beige]"You ought to know better than to speak with Sorcerers,"[/beige] Jesoshi reproved. [beige]"You should've sent him away."[/beige] [limegreen]"I tried, but he insisted."[/limegreen]
There wasn't enough time to speak any further, for they came into the courtyard and went to the gate. Brother Porter opened the window and stepped aside so Jesoshi could see Z.
[beige]"You interupt our duties, Sorcerer,"[/beige] he started. [beige]"I am Rabbi Jesoshi. The Archbishop is not available, but I will hear you. Speak quickly."[/beige]

James saw the priest, and was irritated that it wasn't Oswin. He could tell that he was a higher priest, and thought that the priest could be of some assistance. "My name is Z. I am a soul trapped in the body of a great necromancer, forced into it by one of his spells. I come here in search of food, and the archbishop. I do not wish to kill anymore people, but without food, I will have no choice."
The paladin appeared discomforted with this statement, and would like nothing more than to chop James' head clean off, only stopped by the order of the rabbi.
"You may chain me even. I need food. James' speech was starting to become primitive. He has not eaten meat in five days and dreadfully need food, or his body would force him to eat any flesh in sight. "Now! Food! MEAT! " James grasped his head.
Stay in control, James.
"Please help. Now."

Jesoshi looked at Z in growing disgust as he began to explain himself. How dare he bring himself to our doorstep and demand these things?[beige]"There is always a choice,"[/beige] he said, trying to interupt him. However, the Sorecerer kept speaking, ignoring him in his pleading. "You may chain me even. I need food." Z suddenly grabbed his head with both hands and shouted, "Now! Food! MEAT!"Jesoshi took a step back in suprise, reaching for his throat as if Z had attempted to strangle him. [beige]"S-s-send him away!"[/beige] he told the Paladin. Brother Porter brought his fist up to his mouth and bit down on his knuckles. [limegreen] That's a bad idea, a bad idea![/limegreen] "Please help. Now."The Paladin looked through the gate window at Jesoshi, then back to Z, readying his sword. He was going to force Z off the premisis. "Stop!" Everyone turned to see Oswin descending the steps. He was not dressed in his ceromonial garments, but rather than a simple friar's robe. He came down to the gate, causing Jesoshi to respectfully remove himself from the window. "What is going on?" he said, looking first through the window at Z, then at Jesoshi. [beige]"A Sorcerer, Archbishop. We've tried to send him away, but he wo-"[/beige] "And what does he want?" Rabbi Jesoshi took a moment to respond, looking down as if he wished Oswin had not come down. [beige]"Food,"[/beige] he said at last. "Well let him in, then. I would speak with him. Brother Porter! Open the gate!" While the round-faced monk hurried to do as he was instructed, Oswin turned to Jesoshi. "We must take every opportunity to witness to beings such as this. We may be able to convert him. Next time to not be in such a hurry to send them away like dogs." [beige]"Bu... Yes, Archbishop,"[/beige] Jesoshi said, lowering his head sullenly. The gate opened and the Paladin led Z in, sword still drawn. He still looked quite suspicious. "Thank you," Oswin told the guard, then turned to Z. "Come, we shall get some food for you, and then we shall speak. Please follow me to the kitchen."
