Alessandra sighed. Riding her horse around, she couldn't get work of her mind. Today was her day to patrol the residence though. She sat on her horse. She almost felt like she needed to leave just to do the paperwork. She looked around the residence. Nothing seemed to be happening here, maybe she could leave. No, she would be disobeying her duty, she thought. She sighed, she really had to get the loads of paperwork done. She had nearly 5 stacks of papers to do. All piled on the ground to her desks height.

The sun was high by the time he walked out into the streets, giving himself what he thought he deserved. Some time to rest. The guild be d**ned. There was more to life than orders, swords, and beasts of old.
Zxas was quiet and content on his back, a silence Strider had come to seldom miss. He passed under the sign reaching out from the Dancing Boot, trying to ignore its silent invitations. "Quiet today, Zxas." He said under his breath. The sword answered with a brief wave of heat on Strider's armor.

Alessandra looked to get a glance of the warrior. She almost wanted to ask him to do her job so she could do her paperwork. She didn't though, as the thought still ran through her head, she would be disobeying her duty. That would not be good for the guild, to have a guild master that didn't fallow rules. She sat straight on her horse. Glancing at the warrior ever so often.

An "island" in the road, composed of a few shabby buildings between where the road suddenly forked, split the two warriors into different paths breifly. After a few moments they converged once again but were side by side now.
"What brings the this Guild Master to the streets of Minas Rithes on such a morn as this, M'lady?" He said quietly, calmly. Zxas was silent once again, giving Sunstrider's uninfluenced moral intent a short rest. He almost felt without purpose, his center of being at a moment of peace, silence, pause. He had yet to look at her thus far, scanning his eyes over the dirty streets. Like grubs on a corpse. He thought, observing the shadowy figures that had come to be known as the Human lower class. Quite a noteworthy declaration, he decided.

Alessandra smiled, she wouldn't have been here if it wasn't her duty. She just couldn't figure how to say that to an other guild member and not look like an idiot. She looked at Strider, "job," she looked into the streets, nothing was happening. Yet, she knew if she left something would, that's why she stayed.

"Patrol?" He played back, feeling Xzas suddenlt hot on his back again. There must be evil nearby. He had neglected his own patrol duty the night before. Well, not really. He had made it to the post late that night, just late enough to see Xzas kill the sentry there.

Ales smiled and looked at Strider, "yes, patrol." She ran her fingers on her horses black mane. The dark red horse was clean, a shinny coat reflect the sun. She patted it's large neck before looking at Stylas again, "why you be out here?" She asked, she thought it was only fair that they both know each others reasons.

"A breath of fresh air," He said after a moment. It was a statement dressed in irony and exaggeration. The air in this part of Minas Rithes was anything but "fresh."
"I heard the call for scouts and left immediately. I'm on my way there now."

Alessandra raised an eyebrow, "I made a list of 15 scouts, I didn't 'call' any. What's your name..." She thought about what was on the list, she had about 16 people maybe only 15. She had one back-up though. Then she had the regulars. She knew most of the people on the list. There were 5 that she didn't know but had signed up saying that's what they wanted. She thought about it, what were those 5 names.

"My name is on the list. There was a call for for us and I left immediately." So the guild hadn't changed much at all with Alisa's passing. Warriors were still signed up for things instead of doing it on their own. Stylas had added his name to the list.

Strider moved slightly so the broad flat side of his blade was touching the horse's hind-quarters. Zxas became very hot rapidly and burnt the horse. All this was behind the two warriors and the Guild Master would not have been able to see. "I really must go. Good day, Guild Master." He said at the same time, knowing the horse would undoubtably react. Then in the confusion he calmly took a side street.
*Exits to meet up with scouting party*

Alessandra shrugged. Not knowing very much, she was confused, and she was under pressure. not good things for a warrior guild master to go through. She rode her horse around, exiting the villiage. *exit*
