Xylas Magimourne had set out to get Nature Essence so he could break his seal. He had now been wandering the Countryside for two weeks. He had no idea where to go, or what he had to do. He had fought and killed several beasts that had attacked him, but nothing out of the ordinary.
He was now wandering aimlessly through the forest. He had no clues to go on. Nothing. Perhaps the gods would favor him and give him something to go by, but nothing had happened yet.
Xylas came to a clearing. There was nothing but a doe in it. Upon seeing Xylas, it bounded off, leaving Xylas alone, once again. "I must find this essence!" Xylas told himself. He walked on, through the meadow and into the forest on the other side.
He walked for hours more, until he was deep within the heart of the forest. The trees now looked gnarled and old. Very old. He felt stifled in the oxygen rich air. He stepped over roots and twigs as he wandered on.
Then he heard something. A twang. An arrow flew past his left ear and struck a tree.

Xylas heard the arrow flew past him which just missed his shoulder by a hair. Worried, Xylas ducked lower and walked more silently, he had to find the foe before he attacks again. He quickly crept behind and caught sight of the arrow's origin. He rushed there with the agility of a cat and matching the speed of a stallion. But what he saw seemed finally to be something out of ordinary a figure. He went on nearer to discover the figure.

((Don't God-Mod.))
Xylas was moving between the trees, trying to stay in the shaddows. Another arrow came from the darkness and thudded into a tree two yards back. Xylas could tell that the archer had unhuman eyesight for to shoot at anything in this forest at a range required superb vision.
He made his way towards the direction the second arrow came from, but to his dismay, a third arrow plunged into the ground behind him. The archer seemed to be everywhere!

Xylas was getting frustrated. So fast, faster then a thief, Xylas was out of wits now. But suddenly decides to walk slowly. He stopped for one moment, and dropped his hat to the ground far from him, he waited for a reaction, which was pretty natural and quick according to the previous shots.

As Xylas suspected, an arrow flew through the branches and struck Xylas' hat, pinning it to the ground. Whoever was attacking him was an excellent shot. Definately not human. But Xylas could not think of anyone who knew he had come down here, so it must be one of the locals. .... So who were the locals? Who lived in this old forest?

The locals he thought. Were there even one? Xylas was experimenting hoping to gain one small value of knowledge that just might help him. He now took out his club, smiling at it and threw it into hedges, making alot of sound. But Xylas stood still, and waited. He just had to know.

Xylas watched intently and... nothing happened. He heard a whistle and an arrow struck the ground right next to his boot. He better get moving again or else the next arrow would be a direct hit.

Good. At least he knew they used eyes and not ears to find him. Not exactly a too good of an archer for him. But still, the position for the archer was still too weird for him, he moved quick and aimed well. Xylas was getting frustrated by the moment and increasing tension did nothing but pressuring him further. Xylas warmed himself up by jogging on the spot. It was reckless, but worth a try. Can my speed match half of the arrow's? He didn't know. But he'd soon know, he now waited for another shot.

As Xylas jogged, a form suddenly appeared in front of him. It was a horrid being. One Xylas had never before seen, and couldn't even distinguish his race.
The being's arm flew up and struck Xylas, sending him to the ground.

The sight of the figure stunned Xylas so much that he was barely able to react but quickly dodged the blow by rolling.

Xylas rolled out of the way. As he looked up, he saw that his attacker was transparent. His eyes were a crimson red, and seemed to burn into Xylas' flesh.
[glow=red,2,300]"I am Felthantanustus the Specter. Leave my woods. This is your last warning."[/glow] The Specter seemed to disappear before Xylas' eyes. Still, once he was gone, the demonic image still burned in his mind. Now the question was, would he obey?

"One word. No." Xylas answered with anger and passion filling his eyes, the moment someone commanded Xylas, he had done a grave danger. Xylas went delusional, which meant killing is bound to follow. Xylas took out a match, lit it and threw to the forest floor. ((Wonders if I'm able to ))

((You just sealed your doom, mate.))
The match lit forest floor ablaze, it being covered with dry leaves and twigs. Imediatly, the blaze enlargened, catching to trees. As Xylas Magimourne grinned evily, the Specter returned, he wielded a ghostly sword and stabbed it at Xylas' neck.
