The guard lunged forwards, dropping the axe to hold his sword with two hands.

The swords clanged, then the guard sidestepped, swinging his sword down low. The swords struck once again. The guard was surprisingly strong for having one of his arms wounded, and he shoved Aiden back several paces. He then attacked again, swinging at neck-height. Aiden ducked and struck the man in the cut, cutting through his armour. Aiden wrenched the blade free as the man fell dead to the floor.
The room, now that he could observe it in more detail, was very small. There was the desk the guard had been sitting at, there was a thick book on it, but it didn't look interesting. Other than that, the room was almost empty. There was also an iron door in the back.

After a few attempts, Aiden managed to pick the lock. The door swung outwarsd to reveal the treasure chamber. Inside were valuables of all kinds, but most in impracticle object that would burden Aiden Kelly should he try to take them. However, there was a pile of good-looking coins of pure gold. If he could find a bag for them (which was not hard to do), he could award himself a nice payment for this whole adventure. Aiden Kelly as recieved a Large Pile of Coins. He now moved back up the stairs, hoping to get out of the building before they discovered there was an intruder. Roll an agility check to see if you have trouble getting away. Required roll: 10
